A special experiment for Widescreen Weekend, taking the beloved tradition of Cinerama and bringing it to a new audience on a modern immersive format. The incredibly wide footage has been mapped onto our Immersive Encounters dome to brilliant effect. You’ll be astounded at the images that were captured over 60 years ago and lovingly restored through the efforts of Cinerama, Inc. Seeing Cinerama on a full dome is understanding how truly ahead of its time it really was! A specially prepared exhibition of clips from Cineramas South Seas Adventure adapted for viewing inside the dome.
