Given I haven't seen that many of the Oscar nominated movies of 2024, I can't really say Anora was deserving of the Best Picture win, however I did quite liked this blend of dark comedy and drama and Mikey Madison was amazing with her duality of Ani and Anora. Not really surprising as I did think she was one of the highlights of 2022's Scream. All in all a solid film from Sean Baker and at some point I want to check out The Florida Project. **4.0/5**
