Overview

Cherish & Ruelle, adapted from Reiga Sanskara’s novel, carries a compelling premise but struggles with execution due to its rushed storytelling and underdeveloped narrative. Febby Rastanty takes on a bold, unfamiliar role, yet her portrayal of Ruelle falls short of fully breaking from her usual "safe" characters, while overacted scenes and illogical dialogue—especially in critical moments—diminish the film’s emotional impact.
