On January 11, 1895, seven Midwest university presidents met to discuss the regulation and control of intercollegiate athletics. That meeting established the principals which would guide what would soon be known as the Big Ten Conference. Now, after 100 years of glory, legends and championships, the storied Big Ten Conference celebrates its Centennial anniversary.
