Overview
His fate hung in the balance more than once. Denunciations. Injuries. War. But he was invincible. Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel General Nikolai Berzarin developed a plan to take Hitler's bet. Became the first Soviet commandant of Berlin. And he died in a banal accident, when everyone around was already celebrating the victory over Nazi Germany. This tragedy happened 65 years ago, but there is still no clear answer to the question, what was it really, an accident or a murder?
