Deep in the Amazon, the directors meet the Waorani people and witness their struggle to protect their families and ancestral territories. The documentary denounces the threat posed by oil companies, but above all the advance of a modern world that is eroding the traditions of indigenous peoples. The Waorani, the last guardians of the jungle, resist on the shores of a new world.
