Overview

A poetically inspiring story of human obstacles and the will to fight. Yanked from her polished suburban lifestyle by the abrupt suicide of her father, Lauren is introduced to a world economically incomparable. Her mother's attempt to draw Lauren out of despair lands her in the local boxing gym where Lauren becomes mesmerized by the skill and passion of a rising talented fighter, Andre 'The Conqueror' Corwin. Their relationship builds as Lauren and Andre each seek to resolve their battles at home and within themselves. Yet when Andre is asked to taint the sport he loves with a deceitful performance in his biggest bout, he must decide what and even who is worth fighting for.
