Overview

Marco, raised in the countryside with dreams of grandeur, bets everything on PHA, a revolutionary biodegradable polymer. Ten years later, his startup is a financial unicorn worth over a billion on the stock market, and he is the king of the world. Until Gabriele, a frosty and infallible short seller from New York, decides to bring him down. Specialized in crashing inflated stocks, Gabriele exposes him in a video commentary, accusing Marco's company of being nothing but a scam. For Marco, it is the beginning of a nightmare. What follows is a fierce, deeply personal clash made of dossiers, drones, private detectives, and a livestreamed showdown that keeps Italy holding its breath. Two mirror-image, obsessed men destroying each other in pursuit of the very same mirage.
