Antarctica is known as the last continent it is twice as big as Australia and only 500 people live there for more than four months at a time. With temperatures reaching minus 80 degrees Celsius and frequent storms, Antarctica, is known to be the most extreme environment on the planet. A hundred years after one of the greatest battles of all time, 6 teams will compete in the highest and driest area of the world. They will ski 900 km through hell and beauty to reach the magnetic South Pole. Follow the inexperienced Norwegian team as they battle against Olympic gold medallists and polar experts.
