The future ain't what it used to be.
Overview
Searching for a safer habitat, the prehistoric Crood family discovers an idyllic, walled-in paradise that meets all of its needs. Unfortunately, they must also learn to live with the Bettermans -- a family that's a couple of steps above the Croods on the evolutionary ladder. As tensions between the new neighbors start to rise, a new threat soon propels both clans on an epic adventure that forces them to embrace their differences, draw strength from one another, and survive together.

With cinemas starving for content - especially family content these school holidays - 'The Croods: A New Age' is your best bet. Somewhat nomadic after the conclusion of their 2013 adventure, the caveman "Croods" are still searching for a place to call home. <em>'The Croods: A New Age'</em> makes for a good sequel. I didn't mind the original from 2013 (that long ago, eh?), I found it passable but did have to watch a recap video before watching this entry as I remembered absolutely nothing; aside from the first few scenes. I guess that's to be expected given the time gap, albeit I don't think I watched the first film until around 2019.
