I don't think I can go so far as to call _Freddy vs. Jason_ good. But I can still be honest about the fact that I love it. Considering it mad-grabs the humour from both its delivering franchises late-stage entries, with the bizarre, ethereal yet quippy flavour of _Elm Street_, and the body count of a _Friday the 13th_, how could I not? For what this is it is quite grand. It is a worthy and lovely send-off for Robert's enduring efforts with Freddy, and while it is campy and silly at times, this is still a good movie, especially considering when it was made. It is bright and everything is visible, not dull and dark, which helps. The characters are quippy and engaging, which means that the tension is real, which is great.
