This is quite a fascinating documentary - especially given what science knows 60 years later - about how the principles of aerodynamics were applied to enable aircraft to travel ever faster. It investigates the post-400 mph factors that impact on the structural integrity of the machines, and using animation demonstrates the difficulties faced by engineers and technicians.
