Though the very last scene does prove to be quite impactful, I did struggle to engage with this rather sterile depiction of a conversation on a wide range of important issues between "Stefania" (Stefania Bastianello) and her paralysed husband of ten years "Cesare" (Cesare Scoccimarro). He is plumbed into what looks like a ventilator and cannot speak, but they still appear to be able to communicate by way of a perspex screen with symbols and letters stuck onto it.
