Alesha Dixon
Biography
Alesha Anjanette Dixon, (born 7 October 1978, in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom) is an English singer, MC, songwriter, television personality and former member of R&B girl group Mis-Teeq, who had seven UK top 10 hits, two top 10 double platinum albums, and sold over 12 million records worldwide. After the band split in 2005, Alesha pursued a solo career. She released two singles from the album, Fired Up in 2006 but after limited success in, she was dropped by Polydor in 2006. The album was eventually released in Japan in 2008. After gaining popularity by winning the BBC's "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2007, Alesha was given another chance at a music career, releasing The Alesha Show in 2008. In 2009, Alesha re-released her debut album which featured her new single, "To Love Again". On the 29th November 2010, Alesha released her third solo album, "The Entertainer", which features her new singles, "Drummer Boy", "Radio", and Every Little Part of Me (Feat. Jay Sean).
