Biography
Trystan Wyn Pütter (born December 11, 1980, in Frankfurt am Main) is a German theater, film, and television actor. He rose to prominence in 2013 for his role as Bertok in the three-part television series *Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter* (Generation War). Pütter was born in Frankfurt in 1980 and has a younger brother. After graduating from high school in Dietzenbach, he completed a Master's degree program in Performing Arts at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna from 2001 to 2004. While there, he appeared in various productions, including *Liebe mich irgendwie, nein lieber doch nicht!* by René Pollesch. In 2005, he was engaged by the Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen. Two years later, he moved to the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin, where he collaborated with directors such as Frank Castorf, Dimiter Gotscheff, and René Pollesch. Alongside his theater work, Pütter has appeared in numerous feature films and television productions, including *Hilde*, *Passion*, and *Fünf Jahre Leben*. He has also acted in TV series such as *Ein starkes Team* and *Der Kriminalist*. In 2013, he gained wider public recognition through his role as Bertok in the three-part television drama *Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter*. That same year, he made his directorial debut, co-directing the music video for the song "Money and Women" by Wyn Davies alongside Volker Bruch. In April 2021, Pütter participated in the #allesdichtmachen initiative; however, he subsequently withdrew his contribution following public criticism. Trystan Pütter is in a relationship with Heike Makatsch, with whom he has a daughter born in 2015.
