Jesper Rönndahl
Biography
Jesper Rönndahl (born 27 June 1979 in Veberöd, Skåne) is a Swedish stand-up comedian, television presenter, actor, and radio personality. He began his comedy career in the mid-2000s and became known through Swedish radio programs on Sveriges Radio P3, including Pang Prego and Hej Domstol!. Rönndahl gained wider national recognition for his intelligent and satirical humor, especially as host of the SVT satire program Svenska nyheter from 2018–2019. He also co-created and starred in the comedy series Dips, a satire about Swedish diplomats. In 2023, he co-hosted Melodifestivalen 2023 together with Farah Abadi. Known for combining comedy with science, politics, and social commentary, he has won several awards, including Best Newcomer at the Swedish Stand-up Awards and recognition as “Årets skåning” (Scanian of the Year).
