Mayumi Sato

Biography

Mayumi Sato (佐藤真弓, Satō Mayumi, born April 19, 1968) is a Japanese actress from Tokyo. She is a member of the theater company Neko no Hotel and also of the comedy group Hyōgen Sawayaka led by Ikeda Tetsuhiro. Her blood type is type A. She has played a wide range of roles, from child actors (male and female) to orthodox heroines and shady housewives. Originally a stage actress, she has recently expanded her acting to television dramas and commercials.
