Hugo Montes de Oca is a writer and film director from Monterrey, Mexico. His work explores human psychology and social concerns from multiple perspectives. Among his works, 'Enjoy the Silence' stands out, a psychological thriller that marked his exploration of analog film format. His most recent and ambitious project, 'Ground Control,' is a science fiction short film about loss, notable for being the first Mexican short film with real footage shot in space.
