Biography
Efe Can Güleç (born February 2, 1998) is a Turkish filmmaker and writer best know for directing the OTM best movie of the year-winning sci-fi film Mon: First Try (2022). Efe Can's work draws heavily on sources as diverse as science fiction, fantasy and war, and has been characterized by a strong connection to cultural tales and cliches with an effort to infuse visual or poetic beauty in the 70s low budget B Movie visuality. He also has never finished and published movies like first meta-verse movie Girl Kidnapper (2012), animated web series İdris and the Anchovy (2017) and the dramatic puppet movie Laz-Er: A Story Of The Man Who Is Always Late (2019).
