Kai Oka

Biography

Kai Oka is a Finnish filmmaker and film lover, who made a collection of experimental shorts in the 70s while studying film in Canada. In 2023, a collection of Oka's past shorts were found at a thrift store, which amounted to a sold-out screening of his films at Tampere Film Festival 2024 accompanied by Oka talking about his past work.
