Animaniacs has always been quite deep for a "children's show" as it was always targeted towards adults as well. With the reboot, I feel the target audience has completely shifted towards adults, or to be more precise, towards the people who were kids during the original show. Children nowadays can still enjoy it, but they will miss out on most of the jokes and even more importantly they will miss out on the (political) satire which the reboot introduces and which wasn't (really) present in th…
