Overview

America's policy of non-interventionism had reduced its military to a bare minimum, but the threats posed by the Nazi regime in Europe and the Japanese empire in the Pacific turned a peace-loving state into the world's leading military power ... until our days. From the courageous and long-suffering infantry, which drove the Nazis from the conquered territories of Western Europe during World War II, to the overwhelming navy, which recovered from the attack on Pearl Harbor, becoming an invincible force. This, without forgetting the Air Force, whose pilots and planes destroyed the deadly German Luftwaffe and killed thousands of feared Japanese "zeroes".
