s1: My love of one piece,and underwhelming/ rushed final arc and too many close shots that tries to hide environment as much as possible force me to not rate this anything above 7.5. This series felt like first professional dish by a new chef, being guided by of a demanding MasterChef. where you can criticises elements like too many closed setting, lot of terrible child acting, etc, but you can't ignore the quality of the dish, and you expect an even greter product in the future.

I'm a manga reader. Any aggressively negative review comes from people who don't like that the adaptation is different, their opinions should be ignored. While there are things the show gets wrong, the overwhelming majority, including the most major changes from the source material, are a significant improvement, or are out of necessity considering the source material is very cartoonish and sometimes very childish.
