Overview

Lu Nanyi, the daughter of a wealthy merchant, and Lin Qingqiu, from a distinguished family, grew up as childhood sweethearts. However, Lin Qingqiu was betrothed to another due to his parents' arrangement, though he still loved Lu Nanyi. They planned to elope on his wedding day but were tricked into believing the other had abandoned them, leading to their heartbreaking separation.
