I guess the most powerful thing I can say is that I remember my family gathering around the television to watch this every week when I was a little kid. And it aired on when my father was 2 years-old. In other words it has lasting resonance, but that it because, like the original Twilight Zone (and to an extent the 80s reboot) it has a little bot of everything and a new story to tell every week.
