I'm not far enough into the series to determine if the season is going to end successfully or how compelling the plot line is, but I was surprised by the humor in this dark and suspenseful series. I noticed it in E01, but not being a major component, I wasn't really looking for more. However, in E02, either I was just feeling well after a good sleep or the humor was even funnier - although mostly "tongue in cheek" more subtle humor. Summary: In the small town of Villefrance the locals do their best to deal with the seemingly constant murders, secrets and strange things that happen in the forest. The plot develops steadily starting off with small clues and stories passing up to a dramatic reveal towards the end.
